We are experiencing issues with dipole magnets at ISIS and have data of FMEA type information available giving dates, fault modes and consequences. Much of this information going back 30 years is anecdotal. We want to try and establish patterns in the fault modes and effects and see if there are external influences causing these issues, water, vacuum, PSU anomalies. So far the data is tabulated and presented in a spread sheet format with many appendices and embedded notes. Can anyone suggest ideas of how to do this above and beyond an Access Type Database? We have looked for software like RelioSoft but feel this may be a bit too overkill for our needs however we are open to suggestions.
